Welcome to St Simon Zelotes Church

Welcome to St Simon Zelotes Church

Just off Cadogan Square, the church was designed by Joseph Peacock and built in 1859. In the Decorative style it has been described as ‘idiosyncratic’ and, by John Betjeman, ‘eccentric’. With its rich carving and warm panelling at the east end, the interior is intimate and welcoming.

At the heart of the life of the church, however, is not the building. It is our conviction that Jesus Christ is God’s magnificent gift to the world. Our aim is to know him better and make him known more widely.

Whatever your background or beliefs, whether a firm believer or just looking, we warmly invite you to St Simon’s.
