Free English 

At St Simon’s, we run weekly Free English classes for anyone looking to learn or improve their English language. We have learners from all over the world. Teachers are all native speaking volunteers from the St Simon’s family. 

The classes are split into beginner and intermediate level and are designed to provide additional language support, rather than replace a course in a language school. The teaching materials focus on a range of aspects of British culture, and include pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary. 

As well as teaching English, we want to open our doors to anyone who might be new to the city, or looking to put down deeper roots.

When: The classes run on Wednesday evenings from 7.00pm-8.30pm, in the church building and are followed by conversation, coffee and cake.
