St Simon’s is a lively evangelical Anglican church just off Cadogan square in central London.
Designed by Joseph Peacock and built in 1859, John Betjeman described SSZ as ‘eccentric’. At the heart of the life of the church, however, is not the building, but our conviction that Jesus Christ is God’s magnificent gift to the world. Our aim is to know him better and make him known more widely.
Whatever your background or beliefs, whether a firm believer or just looking, we warmly invite you to St Simon’s.

10:00am Service
Our service follows the Book of Common Prayer, with traditional choral music, and a weekly Sunday school. We celebrate Holy Communion every third Sunday of the month. Tea and coffee is served afterwards.

6:30pm Service
The evening service is less formal in style, with a mixture of classic and contemporary hymns. Holy Communion is every first Sunday of the month. Refreshments are served afterwards.
VISION AND VALUES
Acts 2 describes the first church, formed after the day of Pentecost.
In his book The Living Church, John Stott unpacks 4 marks of that church; Knowledge, Love, Worship and Outreach. To which we have added a 5th; Stewardship. These have been our five values since 2013.

Parables: Well done, good and faithful servant"
Luke 19:11-27 | Speaker: Charlie Thomson | Date: 7th April 2019FAMILIES
We would love to welcome you to our growing Sunday School!
We meet every Sunday morning during the 10am service in the church hall, to learn about Jesus by hearing from the Bible in a fun and engaging way. From time to time we organise special events which are fun for all the family, from afternoon teas to Halloween drop-ins. Look out for more in the future.
“But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus”
2 Timothy 3:14-15
CHRISTIANITY EXPLORED

Nothing is more important to us than helping people who would not call themselves Christian believers explore what Christianity is about, and whether it is true.
We run a course called Christianity Explored. The course gives you time and space to consider the big questions of life and to explore the person at the heart of the Christian faith – Jesus Christ. Whether you have previous experience of Church, Christians and the Bible, or none at all, we welcome you to join us. Should you take part, we will respect your background, culture and beliefs.
BUILDING PROJECT
Following the successful renovation of the West End, we have permission to undertake further building works, which will make sure our building remains fit for future generations of gospel ministry in Chelsea.
